Depressed? Laughing gas might help

Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, has shown early promise as a potential treatment for severe depression in patients whose symptoms don’t respond to standard therapies. In other words, it might actually live up to it’s name and as they say laughter is the best medicine. The pilot study is┬ábelieved to be the first research in which patients with depression were given laughing gas.
