A Video Game Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas and all through the house, the computer could be heard along with the clicking of a mouse. Sure it’s a cheesy way to start today’s post, but have you seen the rest of the blog? Without all the traditional holiday festivities due to COVID, I’m making a moderately sized dinner tomorrow. Since I don’t need to do a whole lot of prep, I’m free to find other activities for the day.
I don’t typically get a lot of time to game these days, school, pandemic, life, there’s a lot going on. I’ve got some time to unwind for the next week or so, which means I finally, FINALLY, have some game time. Mental health is important and one way I like to recharge is by playing a game. I mean we all have our own ways of relaxing, this is mine.
If you’ve been following along you may know my favorite series is Mass Effect, but I’ve been playing “The last of us” remastered version and even though I’m late to the party, it’s a fun game. I highly recommend it even if we are living through a pandemic. With the teasers for the remastered Mass Effect and a whole new game in the series, I’m really excited to get a new storyline.
Anyway short post, my mental health has been a dumpster fire for awhile so I really need to just relax for a bit and get my thoughts together. This time of the year is always rough for me. The stress of the pandemic doesn’t help, but not having to entertain people or visit others does make things slightly more easy. Anywho, the holidays are here so I hope everyone manages to find a safe way to celebrate!
But enough about us, what about you?
